Four senior cops transferred in Himachal

Shimla, Mar 27 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Government on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of four senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers, including three of Additional Director General rank.
Ajay Kumar Yadav (IPS, HP:1996) has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (Crime), Himachal Pradesh, based in Shimla. He will also oversee Litigation & Conviction issues within the department and supervise the Special Task Force as per a notification.
Gyaneshwar Singh (IPS, HP:1999) will now serve as the Additional Director General of Police (CID), Himachal Pradesh, replacing Sanjeev Ranjan Ojha (IPS, HP:1989), who was holding additional charge of the post.
