Four apprehended in a joint operation for firing at filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s residence

Chandigarh, February 16 (UNI) In a breakthrough against organized extortion rackets, the Special Task Force (STF) of Bahadurgarh, Jhajjar, in collaboration with the Mumbai Police, has arrested four individuals allegedly involved in a firing incident at the residence of noted film director Rohit Shetty.
The coordinated raid led to the capture of the suspects who had reportedly opened fire to intimidate the filmmaker for extortion.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Rithik Yadav, Sunny, and Sonu, all residents of Bahabijouli in Agra, along with Deepak, a resident of Sadarpur in Noida. According to Inspector Rakesh Kumar, in charge of the Bahadurgarh STF, the operation is a significant blow to inter-state gangs engaged in extortion and gang-related violence. Preliminary investigations reveal that each of the four suspects already has a criminal record.
