Former Congress spokesman Kaustab Bagchi joins BJP

Kolkata, Feb 29 (UNI) Former Congress spokesman and advocate Kaustav Bagchi on Thursday joined the BJP in the presence of party's state President Sukanta Majumdar and leader of the Opposition Suvendu Adhikari.
Bagchi joined BJP, a day after he quit the grand old party after serving it for 22 years.
Bagchi in a letter to Congress national President Mallikarjun Kharge and its state chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury on Wednesday announced that he has resigned from all party posts.
