Forensic tests confirm drug use, four booked under NDPS Act in Kangra

Dharamshala, May 12 (UNI) Four persons have been booked under the NDPS Act in Himachal Pradesh’s Kangra district after forensic and medical reports confirmed consumption of cannabinoid-based narcotic substances, police said on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police, Dehra Police District, Mayank Chaudhary told UNI that the action was taken under the state government’s “Nasha Mukt Himachal Abhiyan”.
He said that the case relates to a clash between two groups in the Kaloha area under Police Station Rakkar on January 5 this year, in which cross FIRs were registered.
