Foreign stars return to RCB as IPL resumes

Foreign stars return to RCB as IPL resumes

Bengaluru, May 15 (UNI) South Africa fast bowler Lungi Ngidi on Thursday rejoined Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) as the Indian Premier League resumes following a temporary suspension caused by heightened India-Pakistan tensions, which have now eased after a pause in military operations.
Ngidi was among the first foreign players to check in at the RCB headquarters, signalling a return to cricketing normalcy after the regional conflict forced the BCCI to suspend matches for a week. The pacer was joined by Indian seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar, batsman Mayank Agarwal, and allrounder Swapnil Singh at the RCB base, with the franchise stating that the quartet had "unfinished business" on their minds.
"Back at base and locked in! Mayank, Bhuvi, Lungi, and Swapnil have checked in to the RCB HQ," read a post from RCB’s official handle on X, urging fans to "bring the heat" as the league kicks back into action.
