Kathmandu/New Delhi, Aug 11 (UNI) Visiting Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Sunday.
FS Misri's visit is the first high-level one from India after the formation of the new government of KP Sharma Oli last month, after ousting the government of Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda.
According to the personal secretariat of PM Oli, Secretary Misri paid a courtesy call on PM Oli at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, MyRepublica reported.
In the meeting, an Indian delegation visiting Nepal and officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present.
Earlier, Foreign Secretary Misri and Maniram Gelal, Secretary, Ministry of Urban Development, Govt of Nepal jointly inaugurated the new building of Nepal Bhasha Parishad in Kathmandu, built under India’s post-earthquake reconstruction grant.
The Foreign Secretary also planted a sapling of Nili Gulmohar at the Indian Embassy complex.
The Indian Embassy in posts on X said:

Misri arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday morning for a two-day official visit.
