Foreign LeT militants killed in Handwara involved in Sopore encounter: Police

Srinagar, Mar 20 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Police on Thursday said the foreign militant killed in the Handwara gunbattle three days ago was linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba and was involved in the Sopore encounter two months ago, in which a soldier lost his life

On March 17, security forces shot dead a suspected Pakistani militant identified as Saifullah during a gunfight in a forested area of Handwara. This marked the first militant killing in Kashmir this year.

Betul (MP), Jan 18 (UNI) An unidentified person was hit by the Rajdhani Express on the Parsoda track in the vicinity of this district's Amla Station, officials of Railway Proteection Force(RPF) said on Sunday.
The person's severed head got caught in the locomotive and was carried about 4 km to Amla where it was extricated with the help of Railway personnel. The rest of the body was found on the scene.
