Kochi, Oct 14 (UNI) Forca Kochi FC secured a dramatic 1-1 draw against Kannur Warriors FC in the Super League Kerala at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium here.
In the first half on Sunday, both teams started the game slowly, but Kannur Warriors gradually gained momentum and sharpened their attack. Their efforts paid off when Pragyan Sundar's shot was deflected off Kochi defender Ayazo Luiz, giving Kannur an early lead in the game.
In the second half, Kannur Warriors increased their attacking pressure, testing Kochi's defence and making several offensive moves. Coach Manuel Murias brought on key players like Adil Khan and David Grande to strengthen Kannur's squad and aim for a second goal. However, Kochi held firm, determined not to concede further.
