Flood survey completed in Punjab; union Minister Nirmuben assures full support to affected farmers

Chandigarh, Oct 11 (UNI) union Minister of State for Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution, Nirmuben Jayantibhai Bambhaniya, visited flood-affected areas in Ludhiana district today to assess the situation and interact with the affected families.
She stated that the central team has completed the survey of the flood damage across Punjab and assured that the central government stands firmly with every affected family.
During her two-day visit, the Minister toured villages including Talwandi Kalan, Garsian Hakmara, Lopon, and others under the Gill constituency. She is scheduled to visit the Sasarali Colony tomorrow to review the damage caused by the overflowing Sutlej River and meet residents. Earlier in the day, she paid obeisance at Alamgir Gurdwara Sahib before interacting with flood-hit families.
