Five pc of India's Pediatric cancer cases are from AP & Telangana: Medical Oncologist

Hyderabad, Sep 12 (UNI) Medical Oncologist Dr. S. Jayanthi today said that cancer today affects all ages, and nearly five percent of India’s pediatric cancer cases are reported from the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Around 5- 10 percent of these are hereditary, said Dr Jayanthi while addressing a Childhood cancer Awareness program, which is observed every September month, held at Kamineni Hospital, LB Nagar, here today.
