First song 'Jinguchaa' from Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life' released

Chennai, Apr 18 (UNI) South Indian superstar Kamal Haasan has unveiled the first track from his film "Thug Life".

Penned by Haasan himself , 'Jinguchaa' is a vivacious wedding anthem, a rhythmic blend of cultural flair and festivity, brought to life by the dynamic vocals of Vaishali Samant, Shaktishree Gopalan and Aditya RK, while A.R. Rahman infuses the track with signature musical brilliance.

Helmed by auteur Mani Ratnam, "Thug Life" marks a landmark collaboration between three stalwarts of Indian cinema, Mani Ratnam, Kamal Hasaan and A.R. Rahman, uniting them for the very first time. The film marks the return of Kamal Haasan and Ratnam, after their previous film Nayakan (1987).

The moviw will feature many industry powerhouse actors together including Silambarasan TR, Trisha Krishnan, Ashok Selvan, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Joju George, Abhirami, and Nassar. Bollywood actors Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Sanya Malhotra also play key roles, bringing a pan-Indian appeal to the project, aiming to break the linguistic and cultural barrier. Produced under the banners of Raaj Kamal Films International, in association with R. Mahendran and Shiv Ananth.

The launch event for 'Jinguchaa' was graced by the film’s principal cast and crew, including Silambarasan TR, Trisha, Nassar, Abhirami and other collaborators. This film is all set to release worldwide on June 5.
