First lot of Corona vaccine reaches Ranchi, taken to state warehouse from airport

Ranchi, Jan 13 (UNI) The first lot 16,200 vile of Coronavirus vaccine on Wednesday reached the state capital.
A special flight in the morning landed at the Birsa Munda Airport along with the vaccines which were straight away taken to the state warehouse located at Namkum. The distance of 11 kilometres from the warehouse to the airport was covered in 32 minutes.
From a vile, the injection will be given to 10 people which means in Jharkhand in the first phase vaccination of 1.62 lakh people will be done. From the state warehouse, the vaccines were also later sent in the day to the two regional warehouses located in Deoghar and Palamu.
