First look of Thalapathy Vijay's last film 'Jana Nayagan' to release on his birthday

Mumbai, June 21 (UNI) In a moment poised to be both emotional and iconic for fans, the highly anticipated first look of South Indian superstar Thalapathy Vijay's final film "Jana Nayagan" will be unveiled on June 22, 2025, marking his birthday.
Directed by H. Vinoth, with the music composed by ever-evocative Anirudh Ravichander, produced under the banner of KVN Productions by Venkat K. Narayan, the film is envisioned as both a powerful narrative and a grand farewell celebration for the star who has ruled millions of hearts for decades.
The recently released poster shows Vijay in a burning silhouette, his fist raised towards the sky, and behind is a crowd of thousands of fans, a glimpse of revolution, legacy and enduring leadership.
The tagline of the poster reads, "A lion is always a lion & his first roar is incoming. June 22 | 12.00 AM". It is set to hit the big screens worldwide on January 9, 2026 on the occasion of Pongal festival.

The drama, produced by Higher Ground Productions and Amblin Television, is currently filming in Atlanta, Georgia. The series is written and overseen by Joe Robert Cole, who serves as showrunner, executive producer and director of multiple episodes, including the premiere.
