Firhad Hakim's sister alleges death threats over Durga Puja committee dispute

Kolkata, June 7 (UNI) Geeta Hakim, sister of former Kolkata mayor and senior Trinamul Congress leader Firhad Hakim, alleged on Sunday that she received death threats over the phone in connection with a dispute involving a local Durga Puja committee in south Kolkata.
The alleged threats surfaced barely a couple of days after Firhad Hakim stepped down from the post of mayor, prompting Geeta Hakim to consider legal action.
She said she and her lawyer would soon approach the authorities regarding the matter.
