Fire incidents averted at Maha Kumbh, no casualty reported

Prayagraj, Feb 17 (UNI) Many camps were gutted in two fire incidents reported at the camps of Shri Kapi Manas Mandal and the Consumer Protection Committee during Maha Kumbh on Monday, official sources said here.
Sources said that due to the prompt action of the Fire Service Unit, the fire was quickly brought under control, preventing any major damage. No loss of life occurred in either incident. It may be noted that comprehensive fire safety and security arrangements have been implemented for Maha Kumbh, ensuring an immediate response to such emergencies.
Mahakumbh's Nodal and Chief Fire Officer Pramod Sharma said a fire broke out in two tents at the Shri Kapi Manas Mandal camp all of a sudden in the morning. "Upon receiving the alert, the Fire unit swiftly arrived at the scene and brought the blaze under control," he said.
