Fire breaks out at Chandni Chowk’s cloth market, no casualties reported

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) A massive fire broke out in Chandni Chowk's Marwadi Katra market on Thursday evening, gutting several cloth shops.
As many as 40 fire tenders were dispatched to the spot to extinguish the fire, Delhi Fire Services Director Atul Garg said.
Speaking to the media while reviewing the situation of the fire at the spot, Garg said, "Fire is under control. It is surrounded so it cannot go any further.”
“The fire department will shortly provide update on how many shops were affected by the fire, Garg said.
“40 fire tenders are present at the spot, along with 170-175 officials. No casualty in the incident has been reported,” he added. UNI PSP SSP
