FIR filed against Nadwa College principal, staff over foreign national's illegal hostel stay

Lucknow, Dec 14 (UNI) An incident involving the alleged illegal stay of a foreign national at the hostel of the prestigious Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama (Nadwa College) in Lucknow has triggered concern among administrative and security agencies, officials confirmed on Sunday.
Police have registered an FIR against the college principal and several other responsible officials after confirming that a Philippine national stayed in the hostel for three days on a tourist visa.
According to officials, Mohammad Haroon Sarip, a citizen of the Philippines, arrived in Lucknow on November 30. He stayed in hostel room number 307 along with Mohammad Yasir, a student from the Philippines studying at Nadwa College.
