FIFA slaps Namibian club Orlando Pirates with transfer ban

Windhoek, Nov 14 (UNI) The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has announced that FIFA has imposed a transfer ban on Namibia's Orlando Pirates football club, effective January 31, 2024.
The ban, which results from unpaid dues to former player Aaron Yaw Ladakpa, prevents the club from registering new players, both domestically and internationally.
According to the NFA on Wednesday, Ladakpa filed a complaint with FIFA over unpaid remuneration following a wrongful contract termination.
