Raipur, April 4 (UNI) Former India football great Bhaichung Bhutia has stressed on the need for sports federations to be led by people who have a vision, understanding and passion for the respective sport rather than those who are just interested in attaining high posts.
While addressing the press at the Khelo India Tribal Games 2026 here on Friday, Bhutia underlined that sports federations and associations are being led by those who have been occupying high/leadership positions for decades on end and there has not been any performance review/accountability of such persons
