FDA conducts search operations in Nagpur to prevent LPG hoarding; police on alert

Nagpur, Mar 11 (UNI) After the government invoked the Essential Commodities Act across the country, the administration in Nagpur has stepped up vigilance to prevent possible hoarding and black-marketing of LPG cylinders.
The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has launched search operations across the city amid apprehensions of a potential artificial shortage of LPG.
Officials are conducting inspections at hotels, restaurants and LPG warehouses in various areas to check whether cylinders are being illegally stored or sold in the black market.
