FC Bengaluru United kick off KSFA Super Division campaign with a resounding 6–0 win

Bengaluru, Sep 11(UNI) FC Bengaluru United (FCBU) kicked off their KSFA Super Division 2025–26 campaign in dominant fashion, cruising to a resounding 6–0 victory over Bangalore Dream United. A relentless first-half performance saw FCBU score all six goals (5' Dhruv, 13’ 40' Nikhil, 36' Altab, 38 45 2, own goal) showcasing their attacking flair, sharp movement and ruthless finishing.
The game burst into life early, with Dhruv opening the scoring in the 5th minute after calmly slotting a grounded shot into the bottom corner. Just four minutes later, Nikhil doubled the lead, easing the ball past the keeper following Altab’s clever cut through and pass into the box. FCBU’s third arrived in the 36th minute, when Ajith made a driving run down the flank and squared it to Nikhil, whose gentle touch set up Altab for a simple tap-in. The pressure continued to mount on Dream United, and in the 38th minute a deflection resulted in an own goal to make it 4- 0.
Before Dream United could recover, Nikhil added his second and FCBU’s fifth in the 40th minute, heading home Ajith’s pinpoint cross. Just before the break, the opposition’s misery was compounded with another own goal in stoppage time, taking the scoreline to 6–0 at halftime. The second half saw FCBU control proceedings with composed possession and patient build-up play, creating further chances but unable to add to their tally. Their dominance ensured there was no way back for Dream United, who spent much of the half pegged deep in their own half.
