Farah Khan to host reality show ‘The 50’ featuring Divyaa Agarwal and Karan Patel

New Delhi, Jan 17 (UNI) Actors Divyaa Agarwal and Karan Patel have been confirmed as contestants on the upcoming reality show ‘The 50’, the Indian adaptation of an international format by Banijay.
The show will bring together popular faces from television and digital platforms for a game centered on strategy, social play, and survival.
For Divyaa, this marks a return to reality television after spending a couple of years working on web series and acting projects. In a press release, she expressed her excitement about re-entering the competitive space.
"Acting will always be my first love, but coming back to a reality format with The 50 feels incredibly special. My journey from reality shows to exploring bold, experimental storytelling with Fuh Se Fantasy on JioHotstar has helped me grow immensely as a performer and as an actor," she said.
Karan Patel, also confirmed as a contestant, shared that the concept of the show convinced him to participate, despite the challenge of staying in a house for a month away from family.
Karan said, “Being locked in a house for a month, away from friends and family, was never something I imagined for myself. But the moment I heard the concept of the show, there was an instant desire to be a part of it. The 50 excites me, the games, the competition, and the madness that comes with it.”
“I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow contestants, hopefully some familiar faces, and giving it my all,” he added.
The reality show will be hosted by filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan and is set to stream on JioHotstar while airing on Colors starting February 1.
