Fans go wild over ‘Dhurandhar’ trailer

New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) The trailer for ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has set social media ablaze, with fans reacting almost instantly to the explosive three-minute-25-second preview.
With the film slated to hit theatres on March 19, the trailer has amplified anticipation for what is already being billed as one of the year’s biggest cinematic events.
Fans poured onto social media to share their excitement, praising the trailer’s scale, sharp editing, and Ranveer Singh’s intense transformation. Many described the preview as “goosebumps-inducing,” while others warned, “You are not ready for what’s coming.”
One user wrote, “Ladies And Gentlemen You Are Still Not Ready For This Dhurandhar.”
Another commented, “This is how you make a trailer, over three minutes long and still nothing about the main plot. Peak editing. Waiting for this film on March 19.”
A different post read, “When silence turns into revenge, legends are born. Dhurandhar doesn’t chase enemies, they fear his return.”
Some fans even linked the excitement to industry buzz, with one noting, “Ab samajh aaya Toxic kyu postponed hui Dhurandhar 2 trailer real goosebumps (Now, I understand why Toxic was postponed).”
The high-octane trailer opens with intense action sequences and a strong political tone. Ranveer Singh returns in a rough and rugged avatar as Hamza, continuing the story from the first film after he killed Rahman Dakait.
The trailer also introduces Jaskirat Singh Rangi, hinting at a layered narrative with dual identities and a quest for revenge.
The caption, “Ab Pakistan ka mustakbil, Hindustan tey karega (India will write Pakistan's future),” signals the cross-border conflict at the heart of the story.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the trailer offers glimpses of several key characters shaping the narrative. Sanjay Dutt appears in a powerful role, delivering the impactful line, “Jaha dard hai waha mard hai (Where there is pain, there is a man).” Meanwhile, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal are seen in pivotal roles, further raising the stakes for the sequel.
Presented by Jio Studios and produced by B62 Studios, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ will release worldwide in five languages, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, coinciding with the festive celebrations of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid.
With the trailer now dominating online conversations, the countdown to the film’s theatrical release has officially begun, and fans are bracing for an action-packed, high-stakes cinematic spectacle.
