Fake news detection implemented in Kerala schools

Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 12 (UNI) Kerala had included empowering school children to identify fake news spread online and to conduct 'Fact-checking' as part of the new ICT textbooks for Classes 5 and 7.
Recently there was news emerged that the UK is planning to revise its primary curriculum by including this topic.
Earlier in 2022, Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), the technology arm of Kerala General Education Department, had imparted Fake News prevention and awareness creation training for 19.72 lakh students of Grades 5 to 10, as part of the Digital Media Literacy programme.

The flight acceptance hot test of CE20 Cryogenic Engine for LVM3-M6 Mission was conducted yesterday at ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC), Mahendragiri in Tamil Nadu.
