Fadnavis talks about betrayal which changed the history at Sambhaji Maharaj's statue launch

Kolhapur, Dec 15 (UNI) State Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has said that the life of both Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj would continue to inspire people and had there was no betrayal. no one would have dared to capture the army of Sambhaji Maharaj. Inaugurating the statue of Sambhaji Maharaj in Ichalkaranji city on Monday, the Chief Minister said that if betrayal didn't happen, the history of the country would have been different.
"Aurangzeb thought that since Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not there, he could take over the entire Maharashtra. But he did not know that an army was stationed at this place. Sambhaji Maharaj did not lose a single battle," he said, adding, "If there was no betrayal with Sambhaji Maharaj, the history of this country would have been different."
He said that the launch of the memorial is a moment of celebration for the people as it belongs to the people.
