Fadnavis slams Rahul Gandhi, Sharad Pawar over ‘Film Script’ election claims

Mumbai, Aug 11 ( UNI) Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is narrating stories to the public much like those written by Salim–Javed in Bollywood films, with NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar now joining in, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said today, criticising both the leaders.
Pawar recently claimed that before the elections, two individuals met him and assured him they could manipulate votes to win 160 seats — a statement that stirred political circles.
Responding to this, Fadnavis came down heavily on Pawar, saying, "As a responsible citizen, upon suspecting any malpractice in the election process, you should have lodged a complaint with the Election Commission or the police. Were you planning to use those people instead?”
