Fadnavis attacks Thackeray brothers at Shivaji Park rally ,BJP leader plays old videos, questions Sena’s record

Mumbai, Jan 12 (UNI) Campaigning for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation elections intensified on Monday with sharp political exchanges between rival alliances, as a major Mahayuti rally was held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai, a day after a public meeting addressed by the Thackeray brothers.
Addressing party workers and supporters, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis launched a scathing attack on the Thackeray brothers, using their past statements against each other to question their political credibility.
During his speech at the historic Shivaji Park, Fadnavis asked organisers to play video clips of the Thackeray brothers criticising one another, remarking that there was no need for him to respond separately as they had already answered each other. Referring to the issues raised at their recent rally, he said the speeches repeated the same themes and appeals, adding that Mumbai could not be broken away regardless of who attempted to claim ownership over it.
