Ex Bangladesh PM Khaleda Zia's family prepares for her immediate transfer to London for advanced treatment

Dhaka, Nov 29 (UNI) Former Bangladeshi PM and Chairperson of the country's second most prominent political faction – Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) - Khaleda Zia, amid her deteriorating health is being prepared to be shifted to London for receiving advanced medical treatment, as soon as her condition stabilises.
The two-time former premier's family members along with BNP workers are actively making arrangements for her immediate shift, while her condition is under active watch.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, her nephew Mahdi Hasan stated that Zia's son Tarique Rahman and his wife Dr Zubaida Rahman have been in constant virtual contact with London-based doctors and are "supervising every step" of her care.

Trump claims Russia – Ukraine war will be over 'pretty soon' on sidelines of Davos summit

Davos, Jan 22 (UNI) US President Donald Trump, speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration of the Board of Peace in Davos on Thursday, referred to the Russia – Ukraine war and said, that though it has been contrary to his expectations the most difficult conflict to solve, he expects a settlement between Moscow and Kyiv to be imminent, claiming that the war will be over "pretty soon."
Reiterating his misplaced claims of ending eight wars, he remarked that this will soon be the ninth entry on his roster of the conflicts he believes to have put to bed.
