Esha Deol dismisses rumours of Dharmendra’s death

New Delhi, Nov 11 (UNI) Actress Esha Deol, daughter of veteran actor Dharmendra, has dismissed media reports claiming her father’s demise.
Addressing the rumours on Tuesday, Esha clarified that Dharmendra is “stable and recovering”, urging everyone to respect the family’s privacy.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “The media seems to be in overdrive and spreading false news. My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy. Thank you for the prayers for papa’s speedy recovery.”
Meanwhile, Hema Malini, Dharmendra’s wife, also refuted the false reports while slamming media channels for "behaving irresponsibly".
Hema Malini posted on X, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."
"Mr Dharmendra is stable and under observation. Further comments and updates will be shared as available. Kindly don't indulge in spreading false rumours regarding his health. Request everyone to pray for his speedy recovery and respect the family's right to privacy," according to a statement from Sunny Deol's team.
Dharmendra, one of Indian cinema’s most beloved stars, has been under medical care, and his family confirmed that his condition is improving.
