Rohit Shetty's surprise visit to the sets was a memorable experience: Chinmay Mandlekar

Mumbai, July 7 (UNI) Filmmaker Chinmay Mandlekar has recalled a memorable behind-the-scenes moment from the filming of "Governor: The Silent Saviour", revealing that a surprise visit by action specialist Rohit Shetty during a major stunt sequence lifted the spirits of the entire crew.
Mandlekar said that the entire unit has to be extra cautious while shooting fire-related scenes. He said that the film's action director, Shinde, had ensured all necessary safety arrangements, which allowed the entire scene to be shot safely and systematically. The scene was shot near Horniman Circle in Mumbai, where it was challenging to shoot a large-scale action sequence in a crowded area.
He shared that during the shooting, Shetty had visited the location to inspect one of his films. When he learned that an action scene was being shot there, he came straight to the set. Mandlekar said that the presence of Rohit Shetty, known for his action films, was inspiring for the entire team, and he wished all the actors and technicians well.
The 47-year-old director said that this experience boosted the morale of the entire team and the biggest satisfaction was that the entire action sequence was successfully shot.
It's worth noting that "Governor: The Silent Savior" marks the second collaboration between director Mandlekar and actor Manoj Bajpayee after 'Inspector Zende.' The film is receiving positive reviews from audiences. UNI NST CDS
