Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2’ trailer released ahead of finale on New Year’s Eve

Washington, Dec 17 (UNI) The makers have released the trailer for ‘Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2,’ shortly after dropping the four episodes that make up Volume 1 of the fifth and final season.
‘Volume 2’ will feature three episodes, set to premiere on December 25, while the series finale will arrive on New Year’s Eve and will also receive a theatrical release.
The new trailer teases the climactic endgame as the residents of Hawkins prepare for an all-out war against Vecna and his army of Demogorgons from the Upside Down.
The entire main cast returns for the final season, including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Sadie Sink, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Charlie Heaton, Natalia Dyer, and Jamie Campbell Bower, among others.
New additions to Season 5 include Nell Fisher, Linda Hamilton, Alex Breaux, and Jake Connelly.
Shared by Netflix, the trailer offers a glimpse of the ultimate showdown, with Vecna determined to reshape the world order, setting the stage for a decisive battle that is expected to unfold in the finale.
In Volume 1, viewers reconnect with the people of Hawkins as the town remains under lockdown while the military investigates the Upside Down rift and hunts for Eleven.
As Demogorgons begin crossing into the real world and attack Mike and Nancy’s parents, Vecna seeks new victims, abducting Holly Wheeler, Mike and Nancy’s younger sister.
Holly later encounters Max, who has mysteriously survived her coma following the Season 4 finale, and the two realise they are trapped within Vecna’s memories.
As chaos erupts at a military base and Demogorgons nearly overwhelm the soldiers, Will finally embraces his inner strength and uses his hidden powers to control the monsters, saving the day.
However, Vecna survives a military assault unscathed and retreats back into the Upside Down, poised to return and attempt a final takeover of Hawkins — and the world, Variety reported.
