Shanib Bakshi's documentary 'Sitaron Ke Sitare's' trailer is out

Mumbai, Dec 16 (UNI) The trailer of filmmaker Shanib Bakshi's upcoming documentary "Sitaron Ke Sitare" has been officially released, offering a deeply moving glimpse into the lives of the real people behind the stars of "Sitare Zameen Par".
"Sitare Zameen Par", widely regarded as a spiritual sequel to the 2007 classic "Taare Zameen Par", struck a deep emotional chord with audiences when it was released earlier this year.
Aamir Khan launched thE sports comedy-drama on YouTube for just ₹100, bucking the industry trend by offering "Janta Ka Theatre" (theatre for the masses).
The makers are taking another special step. They're bringing the world a documentary titled "Sitaaron Ke Sitaaron" to introduce the real stars behind the stars on the ground.
The makers of Sitare Zameen Par are now bringing to light the stories of the people who are the true strength of these stars – their parents – through a special documentary.
The trailer of the documentary has been released, giving a glimpse into the lives of the film's star parents, their struggles and precious moments spent together. The documentary reveals the behind-the-scenes world, which hides an entire journey filled with love, sacrifice, hope and pride – the true story of growing up step by step with our stars.
Directed by Shanib Bakshi, "Sitaaron Ke Sitaar" is scheduled for release on December 19 and will stream exclusively on the Aamir Khan Talkies YouTube channel.
Produced under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, "Sitare Zameen Par" stars Aamir Khan and Genelia D'Souza in lead roles, along with an ensemble cast of 10 newcomers. UNI NST SSP
