Comedian Tracy Morgan falls ill, prompting brief halt in play

New York, Mar 18 (UNI) Famed comedian and actor Tracy Morgan appeared to fall ill during a New York Knicks game against the Miami Heat at Madison Square Garden here on Monday night, causing concern among fans.
The incident, which occurred in the third quarter, resulted in a temporary suspension of play.
Morgan, 56, is a devoted Knicks fan and a familiar presence courtside at MSG.
While Morgan's representatives have not responded to media inquiries, Madison Square Garden officials issued a statement wishing the actor a speedy recovery, noting, “We hope Tracy feels better soon and look forward to seeing him back courtside.”
The actor has had faced significant health challenges in the past, notably a near-fatal car accident in 2014 that left him in a coma for two weeks. He has also battled diabetes and even underwent a kidney transplant in 2010.
Despite the momentary disruption, the Knicks prevailed with a decisive 116-95 victory over the Heat.
