Ensure timely admission, proper treatment for every patient: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Apr 20 (UNI) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday reaffirmed his commitment to compassionate governance at the Janata Darshan held at Gorakhnath Temple during his visit to Gorakhpur.
On the second day of his public outreach, the CM patiently heard grievances of around 300 people at Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan, assuring each of swift and transparent resolution. "No one needs to worry. Every problem will be resolved with care and transparency," he said.
During Janata Darshan, a woman approached the CM and said she was unable to afford hospital expenses for her ailing family member. Moved by her distress, he immediately directed the officials to arrange transportation for the patient to the hospital, getting them admitted and providing complete medical treatment.
He directed that an Ayushman Bharat health card be issued to the family to avoid any future difficulties related to healthcare. Several others present also sought financial help for medical needs.
Yogi assured them that no needy individual would be denied treatment for lack of funds. He directed the officials to expedite the hospital estimate process and forward it to the administration.
He said, "Adequate financial support for treatment will be provided from the CM's Discretionary Fund."
