Election fever in Kerala at its peak

Thrissur, March 15 (UNI) With the Election Commission announcing the polling date for the Kerala Assembly, all political parties have swung into action by announcing the names of candidates and holding roadshows.
Kerala will go to polls on April 9 and the results will be announced on May 4.
The Communist Party of India (CPI), the main partner of the CPI(M) led Left Democratic Front was the first one to declare its list of 25 candidates immediately after the Election Commission announced the polling schedule. The CPI(M) followed by announcing a total of 81 candidates.
