Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0 plantation drive held at Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly

Raipur, July 14 (UNI) Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai planted a Rudraksha sapling on Tuesday during a large-scale plantation drive organized at the State Legislative Assembly premises under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 3.0' campaign during the monsoon session.
Addressing the programme, the Chief Minister said the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign, launched at the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has grown into a nationwide people's movement. He said the campaign is not merely about planting saplings but also about expressing gratitude towards mother Earth, nurturing sensitivity towards nature and strengthening the collective responsibility of safeguarding the environment for future generations.
CM Sai said planting a sapling in the name of one's mother creates an emotional bond that inspires people to nurture and protect it. He said this emotional connect has made the campaign sustainable, impactful and driven by public participation.
