EGT clues could reveal fuel quality in air crash: Expert

Bengaluru, June 14 (UNI) Former NAL deputy director and aviation expert Saligram J Muralidhar on Saturday said that the key to understanding the recent aircraft crash lies in analysing the Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT), a critical engine parameter that he believes has been largely overlooked.

"This parameter, when correlated with inflated air pressure, tells us everything about combustion quality, fuel efficiency, and engine health. I don’t think anyone has yet highlighted this in the media or technical discussions — and that’s a serious gap."
