Efforts on to draw all voters to polling booths in upcoming elections

Shimla, May 29(UNI) As India nears the final phase of the staggered Lok Sabha elections, efforts to draw every eligible voter to the polling booths are on in full swing.
The Election Commission of India (ECI) and state election departments are working diligently to uphold their principle of 'No voter to be left behind,' making special provisions for senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PwD), and essential service workers.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) of Himachal Maneesh Garg emphasised these efforts, noting significant participation from vulnerable groups through postal ballots and home voting options.
