ED Shillong attaches assets worth Rs. 17.91 cr in Pearlvine International case

Shillong, Dec 12 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) Shillong Sub-Zonal Office has provisionally attached 14 properties worth Rs 17.91 crore in a case involving an alleged fraudulent investment website operating under the banner of Pearlvine International.
The ED’s investigation, conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002, is based on a First Information Report (FIR) registered by the CID Meghalaya Police following a complaint from the Reserve Bank of India (Shillong).
The attached assets worth Rs 17.91 crore include 13 immovable properties and seven movable properties, including luxury cars allegedly acquired by the perpetrators.
