Bengaluru, Apr 25 (UNI) The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Friday conducted searches at premises linked to senior Congress MLA Vinay Kulkarni in Karnataka, in connection with allegations involving a woman accused of cheating a jeweller of several crores of rupees.
Speaking to reporters here, Kulkarni confirmed that the central agency was probing a case against him and accused it of harassment. "There should be some limit to troubling a person. It pains me to see people misusing the power they have… They want to finish me off politically and cut me off from people," he said.
Kulkarni denied any financial dealings with the woman in question, Aishwarya Gowda, and asserted that if any such transactions had taken place, they could be easily traced.
