ECI to host Global Summit ‘IICDEM 2026’ on Election Management

New Delhi, Jan 13 (UNI) The Election Commission of India Tuesday said it will host a prestigious three-day international conference dedicated to the evolving landscape of democracy and election management.
Scheduled to take place from January 21 to January 23, the event, titled "IICDEM 2026," will be held at the state-of-the-art Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This summit serves as a critical platform for global electoral bodies to exchange best practices and address contemporary challenges in maintaining the integrity of the democratic process, the ECI said.
According to a formal press note released by the poll panel, the gathering is expected to see a significant turnout of global leaders and scholars.
