ECI team led by Gyanesh Kumar arrives in Kerala to review poll preparedness

Kochi, Mar 5 (UNI) A delegation of the Election Commission of India (ECI) led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar arrived here on Thursday for a three-day visit to review the State’s preparedness for the upcoming Assembly elections.
During the visit from March 5 to 7, the Commission will hold a series of review meetings with senior officials, including the Chief Electoral Officer, district election officers and top police officials to assess the readiness of the election machinery across the State.
The delegation will examine key aspects of election management such as the status of electoral rolls, preparedness of polling stations, deployment of personnel, availability of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) and security arrangements.
