ECI confirms no re-polls needed after Phase-I Bihar assembly polls scrutiny

New Delhi, Nov 7 (UNI) The Election Commission of India(ECI) on Friday confirmed that no re-polls are required following the detailed post-poll scrutiny of Phase-I of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025.
This conclusion comes after careful examination of Form 17A (Register of Voters) and other related polling documents for all 121 Assembly Constituencies that participated in the first phase of voting.
According to an official press release, the ECI underscored that the scrutiny was carried out smoothly and transparently, and it aimed at uncovering any potential irregularities or malpractices at polling stations. The Commission had proactively communicated the schedule-date, time, and venue- for scrutiny to all candidates well in advance.
