ECI acknowledges WB Chief Secretary’s compliance letter, to review after Assam Visit

‎New Delhi, Feb 17 (UNI) The Election Commission of India on Tuesday acknowledged receipt of a compliance letter from the Chief Secretary of West Bengal in response to its recent directions, noting that the communication was received before the stipulated deadline of 5:30 PM.

In a brief statement, the poll panel said, “The Commission has received a letter of compliance from the Chief Secretary, West Bengal, in response to its directions. The same has been received before the time limit given by the Commission, i.e., 5:30 PM today.”
