EC full bench to arrive in Bengal today; CEC may visit Kalighat temple ahead of meetings

Kolkata, March 8 (UNI) The full bench of the Election Commission of India, led by Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, is scheduled to arrive in West Bengal on Sunday evening for a two-day visit packed with a series of meetings with officials and political stakeholders.
According to sources, Kumar may visit the Kalighat Kali Temple before the official meetings begin. There is also a possibility that he may go to the Belur Math.
However, when asked about the reported temple visit, Chief Electoral Officer Manoj Kumar Agarwal said he was unaware of such a plan.
