Bengal: Buxa Tiger Reserve to remain closed for four days for tiger reintroduction programme

Siliguri, Sep 29 (UNI) Jungle safari and all tourism activities in Buxa Tiger Reserve will remain closed for four days from September 30 to October 3 in view of the tiger reintroduction programme, according to an order issued by the Directorate of Forests, West Bengal. The order, issued on September 27 by Kumar Vimal, Chief Conservator of Forests and Field Director, Buxa Tiger Reserve, directed that no safari or other tourism activities be conducted in the reserve during the period.
