Low pressure system likely to intensify to deep depression, approach Odisha coast on Sept 23

Bhubaneswar, Sep 20 (UNI) A low-pressure area over the east-central Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a depression by September 21 and a deep depression by September 22 before moving towards the north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts, the IMD said on Sunday. The system is likely to move west-northwestwards and reach the west-central and adjoining northwest Bay of Bengal near the north Andhra Pradesh-south Odisha coasts around September 23 morning, the India Meteorological Department said.
