Bengal: Eastern Railway seeks consultancy plan to transform Howrah station into multi-modal hub

Kolkata, Oct 2 (UNI) The Eastern Railway (ER) has invited bids for consultancy services to prepare a feasibility plan for the redevelopment of Howrah Station and its surrounding areas, with a focus on integrating the historic railway terminal with multiple modes of transport. Howrah divisional railway manager Vishal Kapoor said the authorities were examining ways to upgrade both the station and the area around it.
