Kolkata, Oct 6 (UNI) In a major relief to private bus operators, the West Bengal Transport Department has proposed a 40 per cent waiver on fines and penalties for private and mini-bus operators. A meeting between West Bengal Transport Minister Arjun Singh, senior police officials from the West Bengal Police, Howrah and Kolkata, and private bus operators was held on Tuesday.
