Bengal: Bailey Bridge at Sirwani permitted for light vehicles

Siliguri, Oct 8 (UNI) The Bailey Bridge of the Teesta-VI Hydroelectric Project at Sirwani, Singtam, has been permitted for use by light motor vehicles following successful completion of load testing, according to an official notification issued by the Namchi District Police on Thursday. The order, issued by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Namchi District, under Section 159(2) of the Sikkim Police Act, 2008, stated that the Bailey Bridge would henceforth be used exclusively by Light Motor Vehicles.
